白皓宇（盛一倫 飾）出國念書(shū)歸來(lái)，想要見(jiàn)一見(jiàn)自己曾經(jīng)的青梅竹馬慧珍（迪麗熱巴 飾）。曾經(jīng)，慧珍是前途無(wú)量的美少女，但如今，她不過(guò)是一介毫不起眼的超市理貨員。為了不讓白皓宇失望，慧珍找到了自己的白富美閨蜜夏喬（李溪芮 飾），求她假扮自己去和白皓宇見(jiàn)面，哪知道夏喬假戲真做，對白皓宇動(dòng)了芳心。慧珍找到了一份雜志社的新工作，讓她沒(méi)有想到的是，自己的上司竟然正是白皓宇，一開(kāi)始，白皓宇十分看不上大大咧咧傻里傻氣的慧珍，但隨著(zhù)時(shí)間的推移，白皓宇漸漸在慧珍身上看到了過(guò)去的影子，對夏喬和慧珍的真實(shí)身份產(chǎn)生了懷疑。與此同時(shí)，記者林一木（張彬彬 飾）亦對慧珍展開(kāi)了熱烈的追求。
